I waited all this time in hopes that you'd maybe one day want me
And now I've realized that it's not, and never was, a possiblity
COncious thought sharpies over your written apology.

I know you never really loved me, and even if you did, does it matter?
I know I don't make much of a difference now, and that you love her
I see now that I've been lying ot myself all along, for sure
I know you really loved me, and even if you didn't, does it matter?

The knives that are you words penetrate my soul - and other things penetrate me elsewhere
The sowrd that is your smiles stabs me through, iron jutting through my chest: its not fair
My thick dark guidelines being ot blur as I melt into your arms, I swore I wouldn't share -
But, still, I find the knives that are your words penetrating my soul - and, your parts penetrating me elsewhere.
